The vision highlights the need to harness the center's capabilities to ensure that an organization becomes known for its distinction among its peers.
Mission
The UNESCO Regional Center for Capacity Development and Research in Water Harvesting is a center that coordinates and conducts research individually or jointly with partners, develops human resources and encourages innovation to support and develop the water harvesting sector, including the social impact and the environmental aspect.
Specialties:
- Carrying out specialized training programs, capacity development activities, and raising awareness and knowledge in the field of water harvesting through training courses for participants at the national and regional levels.
To develop scientific research and carry out effective activities to develop capabilities at the institutional and professional levels.
Development and coordination of collaborative research activities, particularly by making use of programs of scientific and professional relevance to the organizations.
