Event description

Flows in the Blue Nile are moderately elevated, currently around 160 MCM/day compared to the historical average of 40 MCM/day for this time of year. In addition, above-normal water levels in the White Nile are adversely affecting agricultural lands. The overall flood situation remains within normal conditions.
